Gazipur District Jamaat’s members’ conference held

Acting Ameer urges to work for the Islamic movement with more dedication

-Professor Mujibur Rahman

Almighty Allah instructs the human being to practice servitude to Allah till death. This way of servitude is the simplest ever path. Allah has made fasting obligatory for us so that we can attain piety. So, we have to make a self-assessment to measure how much advancement we have made in this regard. We have to work relentlessly to build a piety-based community, society, and the state.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman has said this in a virtual members’ conference organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Gazipur district. District Ameer Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam presided over the program which was hosted by district Secretary Mohammad Shafiuddin.

He said we have to work hard systematically to establish the rule of Allah on this land. We have to make Iqamat-e-Deen the main purpose of life. Success will not come without sacrificing lives and wealth. So we have to spend more to attain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. We have to set more examples of sacrifice and dedication. He also urged the Jamaat members to become more kind and sympathetic towards the poor, orphan, and impoverished communities. Acting Ameer also demanded the immediate release of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and all other detainees.

Addressing the program as the special guest, Principal Ijjat Ullah said, Jamaat members have to work to bring public opinion in their favor. We have to expand Dawah and social activities. The government has kept us deprived of civic rights. He condemned the government’s persecution and claimed we can secure our rights by making pro-Jamaat perceptions.

Dr. Maulana Khalilur Rahman Madani said the leaders and activists of the Islamic movement cannot stay away from the loyalty of Allah and His companions. Islamic movement activists have to attain His satisfaction through sacrifice and dedication.

Among others, Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka north region’s team member Abul Hashem Khan, district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdul Hakim and Maulana Sefaul Haque addressed the program.
