Bangladesh’s education and culture to be formed in accordance with Islamic ideology

-Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher

A day-long virtual workshop was held with the Upazila level Shura and working committee members of Kushtia, Chuadanga, and Meherpur districts on 19th February, Sunday. Jamaat-e-Islami Jessore-Kushtia region organized this program. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher addressed the program as the chief guest. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Md. Shahjahan and central publicity secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda also addressed the program.

Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said Bangladesh is a potential land for Islam. The people of the country are religious and hard-working. The western world is playing dirty games with our religious history and tradition. Systematic activities are not allowed to establish an Islamic ideology-based society and state. The secular government is making sincere efforts to weaken Islamic values, education, and culture. Under the circumstances, we have to play a pivotal role to prepare our educational and cultural system on the basis of Islamic ideology. Besides, you have to lead the greater movement in materializing Islamic ideology in this society.

He further said, Jamaat-e-Islami is a traditional Islamic political party. Jamaat has actively taken part in all the previous democratic movements. Jamaat-e-Islami is working sincerely now to restore democracy. He called upon the countrymen to participate in the ongoing movement.

Maulana Md. Shahjahan said, our main success is not worldly, rather the success of the hereafter is our ultimate target. We have to prepare ourselves to achieve that success.
Matiur Rahman Akanda said a strong organization is needed for a meaningful change. Reaching the target would be easier if the organization is stronger. Leadership is very important for expanding an organization. Islam always endorses generous, kind-hearted, and pro-people leadership. An organization can obtain success by managing its manpower properly.

Central executive committee member and regional coordinator Mobarak Hossain spoke on the occasion as the special guest. Among others, team member Khandaker AKM Ali Mohsin was present in the program. Kushtia district Ameer Professor Abul Hashem gave the inaugural speech in the program which was hosted by Chuadanga district Ameer Ruhul Amin.
