Narayanganj district Jamaat-e-Islami arranged a special program for providing assistances to the Shezan juice factory blaze victims today. District Ameer Mominul Haq presided over the program. District Secretary Zakir Hossain hosted the event. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim was present in the program as the chief guest. While, former central president of Chhatrashibir and Dhaka South region’s team member Maulana Abdul Zabbar attended the program as the special guest.

Maulana Abdul Halim prayed for all the deceased victims and expressed his sympathy for their families. He said, following the devastating blaze, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman took update about the incident and gave instructions to the central and district organizations to help the victims by all means. We have come here today with some assistances on behalf of our party Ameer.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, Jamaat has been playing roles for serving the impoverished and poor community. Jamaat always tried to take stand by the side of the people in all natural disasters. As a part of the same strategies, we are here to support you. In comparison to your loss, our assistances are very nominal. Pray for us, so that we can extend our support to the victims more in future.

Special guest Abdul Zabbar said, when Allah bestows a community with state power, they would establish Salah, would collect Zakat, would instruct to do better work and would refrain people from doing ill-deeds. Let us come forward to assist Jamaat-e-Islami in order to establish the doctrine of Allah on this earth.

At that time, financial assistances have been provided among 14 victim families. Finally, district Ameer thanked all for their participation and concluded the meeting.
