Believer’s top priority responsibility is to attain success in hereafter and also to make effort for satisfying Allah, says Mia Golam Porwar
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar has said, it is believer’s duty not to be infatuated with the worldly benefit, rather their main target should be attaining success in hereafter and also to make relentless efforts to gain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. He urged the party members to get rid of the worldly desires and also to get involved in safeguarding country’s independence and freedom, public service and paradise in the hereafter.
He said this while addressing the virtual half-yearly members’ conference of Jamaat-e-Islami Jamalpur district. Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Jamalpur district Ameer Advocate Muhammad Nazmul Haq Sayedee presided over the program. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, central Executive committee member and party’s central publicity Secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda, central organizing Secretary, party’s working committee member and Mymensingh region’s coordinator Dr. Maulana Samiul Haq Faruqee addressed the program.
Professor Mia Golam Porwar has said, government has miserably failed in tackling covid-19 pandemic. He said, for the sake of mass freedom, there is no alternative but following Islamic principles and as such, he urged Jamaat’s leaders and activists to devote themselves in the public service and also to ensure honest and quality leadership.
Addressing the program as the special guest, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan put emphasis on launching grassroots level organization to ensure people’s welfare and service. He also notified the members about the importance of establishing Islamic society. Whilem Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda called upon the Jamaat leaders and activists to circulate the message of Islam among different classes and sections of the society including the elite classes, women and youth communities.
