Poor people’s gloomy face raises questions about the existing state structure, Professor Mia Golam Porwar

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former member of the parliament Professor Mia Golam Porwar has said, the gloomy face of the poor and impoverished people raises questions about the existing state structure. Massive mismanagements have been created severe anarchy. People are not getting seats in the hospital. They are suffering extensively in want of oxygen. Pointing at the poor management of the vaccination program, he said, people are not being vaccinated even after standing in a queue for hours. Even party influence is being applied in the vaccination process.

Professor Mia Golam Porwar urged the government to return back people’s political, financial and social rights. He said this while addressing the virtual half-yearly members’ conference of Jamaat-e-Islami Kurigram district. Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Kurigram district Ameer Maulana Abdul Matin Faruki presided over the program. While, district Secretary Maulana Nizam Uddin hosted the program. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, organizing Secretary Maulana Momtaz Uddin, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, central Majlish-e-Shura member and regional team member Professor Azizur Rahman Sarkar addressed the program.   

Maulana Abdul Halim said, it is member’s duty not to give any excuse rather to remain active always and also to discharge duty with pure sincerity and devotion.
