Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan has issued the following statement on 10^th September 2018 protesting and rejecting the false report published in the last page of Daily Janakantha on 10^th September titled “জামায়াতের মদদে ফের সংকটে তবলীগ জামায়াত” (Jamaat again instigates to create deep crisis in Tablig Jamaat).

Jamaat has no connection with any crisis, created within Tablig Jamaat in recent times. There is no Jamaat backed leader in Hefajot-e-Islam. I am severely protesting and condemning the false and baseless information which has been published in the aforesaid report of Daily Janakantha centering Jamaat-e-Islami.

As soon a bad incident is taken place, it has become a bad habit of the authority of Daily Janakantha to publish false information implicating Jamaat-e-Islami with the incident. The countrymen do not believe in such foul and confusing information of Daily Janakantha anymore.

Under the circumstances, I am calling upon the authority of Daily Janakantha to be refrained from publishing false and baseless information against Jamaat-e-Islami.
