News of condolence
Former Baitulmal (Financial Division) Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami S M Ruhul Quddus Shahid has died this noon at the age of 75. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He left his wife, 6 sons, 2 daughters and many other relatives. His Namaj-e-Janaja (funeral prayer) held after Asar prayer at Donia Zia Shoroni Baitur Rahmat Jame Mosque. He will be buried at his family graveyard in Adda village of Hajiganj Upazila of Chandpur district following his second Namaj-e-Janaja.

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Maulana A N M Shamsul Islam has issued the following message of condolence on 4th May, 2018 at the death of S M Ruhul Quddus Shahid.
In the condolence message Acting Ameer prayed to Almighty Allah for the acceptance of all noble deeds late S M Ruhul Quddus Shahid. He also extended deep sympathy to his mournful families and prayed for them so that they hold patience in this painful period of time.”
