Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rajman said, movement must be launched in the street to dethrone the incumbent authoritarian government. We should not act like a coward. We have to make all-out efforts to securing people’s rights and also to ensure public welfare. We should not be fearful of worldly forces or powers. To attain reward in the hereafter, we have to continue movement in exchange for resources and physical sacrifices.
He said this while addressing a workshop of the district/city working committee members of Rangpur-Dinajpur region as the chief guest. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and the coordinator of Rangpur-Dinajpur region Maulana Abdul Halim presided over the program. Among others, Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s assistant coordinator Principal Maulana Momtaz Uddin, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal and central Majlish-e-Shura member and Thakurgaon district Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim addressed the program on particular issues.
Maulana Abdul Halim further said, we have to work hard to establish the rule of Almighty Allah in this world. We should not be afraid of imprisonment and repression. We have to discharge our responsibilities sincerely and wholeheartedly.
