Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Bangladesh is our birthland. Once this nation was an integral part of the Muslim-ruled India. Later, Muslim rule lost its existence and it went under the British colonialism. The nation finally got freed after 190 years. In 1970, several catastrophes took place due to the mistakes of the then military rulers. As a result, the people of Bangladesh burst into protest. The leaders who led the independence war, they had promised to initiate rule of law but the consequent reality was completely different.
In order to make the country a subservient state of the neighboring country, the government has targeted Islam and the Islamic values. They have made efforts to turn the educational system secular. The government also destroyed democracy and democratic values intentionally, he added.
Jamaat Ameer said, the government has considered Jamaat as their main barrier in their process of looting and corruption. So, they are conducting crackdown against Jamaat-e-Islami. But Jamaat is still on the field and will continue to work for the people overcoming all barriers. Keeping full trust and confidence upon Allah, we have to tackle the incumbent fascist rule.
Muhammad Shahjahan said, Jamaat will never be subdued by the means of detention, imprisonment, false cases, torture and repressions. But now the time has come that we have to resist oppressor regime by sacrificing our wealth and lives. We have to secure victory in the movement of the people.
Dr. Abdur Rab said, although we have many similarities among the Muslims around the world, we always focus on the dissimilarities and inconsistencies. We always propagate such anomalies. Disunity is the main reason behind the deplorable situation of the Muslim. The non-Muslims and the vested quarters also want to indulge disunity among the Muslims. We should not be entrapped by their ill-deeds.
City Ameer Shahjahan Chowdhury said, Jamaat-e-Islami is the only organization whose constitution categorically stated that we will be remain as safeguard to defend country’s independence and sovereignty. Despite such reality, Jamaat-e-Islami is often being tagged with various questions. We have to identify the real mysteries of the history to find out the real truth.
