Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Islam is a special blessing of Almighty Allah. This deen has been bestowed for the welfare of humanity Even the Prophets discharged the duties of establishing of Deen Islam. We have to reach people the Islamic dawah towards the path of the Prophets. But these activities are being barred in many ways now. The religious leaders are being harassed. One after one anti-Islamic laws are being enacted. The issuance of alcohol license is the latest example.
Conspiracies are going on to eliminate Islamic force and to resist such conspiracies, Islamic forces must be united. People have to strive to establish democracy, human rights and humanitarian Bangladesh. People are helpless due to massive price hike of the necessary commodities. People’s voting rights had been seized away through repeated farcical election and as such people’s sufferings know no bounds. As there is no accountability, the ruling quarters became accustomed to authoritarian role.
Since the establishment, Jamaat’s way to struggle was never that easy. Jamaat has proceeded with hindrance and obstruction. Even the companions sacrificed massively in the path of Deen Islam. We have to follow the same footsteps and have to set examples of sacrifices. We have to strengthen the bondage of brotherhood. We have to be prepared ourselves for establishing a just society. Addressing the party members, Jamaat Ameer said, to ensure people’s freedom, we have to enrich ourselves as per the Quranic virtues. The entire world are suffering due to muscle power of the influential quarters. Humanity is in danger in Ukraine and Jamaat Ameer urged all quarters to stop this war immediately.
He said this while addressing a virtual members’ conference on 25th February arranged by Narsingdi district Jamaat-e-Islami. He further said, Jamaat-e-Islami has been working with the people and for the people in a democratic way. Jamaat leaders and activists have to come forward to remove the crisis of public confidence. Jamaat men have to play key role by bolstering organizational structures in order to reach the tasks of establishing just-based society. It should be mentioned that, Jamaat will not be eliminated by dint of repression and torture. Jamaat will continue to work to establish democracy and public rights.
Jamaat’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, central executive committee member and Assistant Secretary General and former MP Hamidur Rahman Azad, central executive committee member SaifulAlam Khan Milon and central Majlish-e-Shura member Abdul Jabbar addressed the program as special guests. Jamaat’s district Secretary Amzad Hossain hosted the program, whereas district Ameer MaulanaMosleh Uddin presided over the event.
Maulana Masum said the members are the basic manpower of this organization. Member’s main assignment to expand the preaching of Islam and also to create its influential position. To eradicate repression, looting and corruption, there is no alternative but establishing Islamic society. Broad base unity to be ensured among ourselves as well.
Saiful Alam Khan Milon stated that human service is a medium to alter society. Jamaat men feel pleasure by serving humanity. We have to increase this humanitarian mentality more. We also have to put emphasis on attaining the rights of the relatives and neighbors by maintaining healthy relations.
Hamidur Rahman Azad said, the grassroots leaders have to skilled in organizing activities. They should play dynamic role to make this organization pro-people and stronger. The future endeavor of establishing just society depends on the grassroots leaders.
