Dhaka city North arranged conference with the Ex-Chhatrashibir activists

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman urges all to be united against all anti-Islam conspiracies

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has stated that, Islam put emphasis on an organized life. Almighty Allah says in verse number 103 of the Sura Imran in the holy Quran that, “And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves. In a Hadith compiled in Musnad Ahmad and SunanTirmizi, it is found that the Prophet (pbuH) said, “I am giving you five instructions. These are: to be organized, to become loyal to leader, to listen to the leaders, to migrate and strive in the cause of Allah.” In another Hadith, the Prophet (pbuH) said, ‘The person who gives up organization, he throws the shackle of Islam from his neck. So no one can live in the outside periphery of the organization. Despite all the adversities, he urged the former activists of the student organization to remain firm for establishing Islamic doctrine.

He said this while addressing a virtual conference of the former activists as the chief guest, arranged by Jamaat-e-Islami, Dhaka city North. Central Executive committee member and Dhaka city North Ameer Md. Salim Uddin presided over the program. While city Secretary and Jamaat’s central working committee member Dr. Rezaul Karim hosted the program. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and former MP Hamidur Rahman Azad attended the session as the special guest. Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Advocate MoazzemHossenHelal, central working committee member Advocate Jasim Uddin Sarkar, central working committee member and Dhaka city North’sNayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, central president of Chhatrashibir Hafez Rashedul Islam, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka city North’s Assistant Secretary Lashkar Mohammad Taslim, Dr. FakhruddinManik, elder son of ShaheedMaulanaMatiur Rahman Nizami, Professor Nakibur Rahman Tareq and Shaheed Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid’s youngest son Ali Ahmad Mabrur addressed the program.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Jamaat-e-Islami is the pulse of Bangladesh. Looters can never be the protector of the nation. The government has taken the nation at the verge of destruction. But the real believers cannot commit sedition. They are usually most respectful towards the resources of the nation. If we go forward with strong determination and Islamic spirit, Allah’s blessings will definitely come. The vested quarter which have tried to eliminate Islam, could not attain success. Rather, Islamic forces have become stronger now. So, we have to make all out and combined efforts against all types of anti-Islam conspiracies.

Md. Salim Uddin said, Baiyat or taking oath is very important in an Islamic way of life. Baiyat is a promise, which a believer makes before the responsible figure of the Islamic movement to sacrifice his/her life and properties. Allah says in verse 10 of SuraFath that “Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands: then anyone who violates his oath, does so to the harm of his own soul, and anyone who fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah, - Allah will soon grant him a great Reward.” Md. Salim Uddin urged all to take this Baiyat within short span of time.
