Hefajat Ameer AllamaJunayedBabunagari dies; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 19 August 2021 at the death of Hefajat-e Islam’s elected Ameer and renowned religious scholar Allama Junayed Babunagari.

In the message of condolence, Jamaat Ameer said, Hefajat-e Islam’s elected Ameer and renowned religious scholar, the pulse of the Islam loving people Allama Junayed Babunagari died at 12.30 at noon in a hospital of the port city Chittagong. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He has played proactive role in establishing Islam and Islamic values in Bangladesh. He has tremendous contributions in launching many religious institutions including Mosques and Madrasas. He is the master of thousands of other religious scholars. His numerous students both in home and abroad have been playing responsibilities to spread the messages and sermons of Islam. He has sacrificed a lot to maintain the Islamic heritage and cultures. The nation will remember him always for his outstanding roles. The nation lost a noted guardian at his demise. We are expressing deep shock at his death and extending deep sympathy to his mournful families, relatives, well-wishers, followers, students and colleagues.

May Allah forgive all his sins and accept his noble deeds. May Allah bless him with JannatulFerdows. Ameen.
