Central working committee member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Sylhet city Ameer, noted lawyer and the Jamaat backed candidate in the upcoming mayoral election Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer said, the youth of the current age is moving towards wrong directions due the aggression of the ill-cultures. Under such a backdrop, sports can be a safeguard for them to get protection from moral degradation. Thus sports can ensure their physical development and also create space for ethical improvement.

He said this while addressing the inaugural session of the 1st Minibar night football tournament arranged by Dakhin Surma Barkhola Jubo Shongho, a youth platform of Sylhet City Corporation.
