Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair expresses deep condolences over the tragic death of four members of the same family from Chattogram in a road accident in Oman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair issued a condolence statement today, 10 January, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic death of four members of a family from Fatikchhari, Chattogram in a road accident in the Salalah area of Oman.

In the statement, he said that on 9 January, four members of a family from Fatikchhari, Chattogram were killed in a road accident in the Middle Eastern country of Oman, and one child was critically injured. The accident occurred last Friday at around 8:00 pm Bangladesh time in a place called Salalah in Oman. He expressed profound grief over this heartbreaking loss of lives.

He further said that in the collision between their vehicle and a camel, Bilkis Begum, Muhammad Sakibul Hasan, Muhammad Didarul Alam, and the daughter-in-law of Shafiul Alam passed away. With their deaths, we have lost a mother, a child, a son-in-law, and beloved members of a family — which is extremely heartbreaking.

He prayed for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased and asked Almighty Allah to grant them all Jannnah and to give the bereaved families the strength to endure this irreparable loss. He also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured child and others who were hurt in the accident.

He called upon the concerned authorities to take more effective initiatives to ensure the safety of Bangladeshi citizens working abroad. At this moment of grief, he expressed his deep sympathy to the families and relatives of the deceased, killed in a road accident in Oman.
