Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar has issued the following message of condolence over the terrible chemical explosion in Shahid Razai Port near Bandar Abbas, Iran.

“I express my deep sorrow over the terrible chemical explosion in Shahid Razai Port near Bandar Abbas, Iran in which 8 people were killed and left another 700 seriously injured. I hope that the Iranian government will investigate the cause of this terrible explosion and take necessary measures to prevent such accidents in future.

I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased and express my deepest condolences to their families and the injured. I also wish the quick recovery of the injured. We hope that the Iranian government and people will soon be able to overcome this grief and great loss.
