Veteran party member and Jamaat Ameer’s father-in-law Dr. Aziruddin dies; Professor Mujib condoles

Father-in-law of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and veteran member of the organization and an active member of Dhaka North city Jamaat’s Mohammadpur North thana Dr. Aziruddin died at the age of 87 at his house on 26 February night due to old age complications. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He has left his wife, two daughters, 5 sons and many other relatives.

Condolence Message:

Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former Member of Parliament Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 27 February at the death of Dr. Aziruddin.

In the condolence message, he said, Dr. Aziruddin was a sincere preacher and devoted soul of Islamic movement. As a physician, he served humanity for years both in home and abroad. Personally, he used to live a very simple life. I am expressing deep shock at his death and extending sympathy to his family, relatives and well-wishers who are passing moments in tears.

May Allah forgive and bless late Dr. Aziruddin and expand his grave. May Allah accept all his noble deeds and bless him with Jannah.

In another message of condolence, former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Maqbul Ahmad said, Dr. Aziruddin was a noble man and great soul for the Islamic movement. He always prioritized the organizational activities and tried to discharge his duties with highest sincerity and emotions. I am expressing deep shock at his death and extending sympathy to his mournful family and relatives.
