He was respected by all quarters as a professional lawyer. He had worked throughout his life to uphold rule of law, justice and most of all to ensure the independence of the judiciary. Barrister Rafique-ul-Huq also disclosed his views boldly in different cases as amicus curiae. The nation will recall his contribution in the judicial sector of the nation. The lawyer’s community and the judicial arena have lost a veteran colleague and guardian. The nation also lost a legal maestro. It would be difficult to fulfil the vacuum, which has been created due to his demise.

I am expressing deep shock at his death and extending sympathy to his mournful families, relatives and colleagues. May Allah accept his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.
