Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 9 September 2020 at the death of Mrs. Maleka Begum, the mother of valiant freedom fighter Bir Sreshtho Shaheed Sipahi Mustafa Kamal.

“Mrs. Maleka Begum, the mother of valiant freedom fighter Bir Sreshtho Shaheed Sipahi Mustafa Kamal died of some old age complications and kidney disease on 8 September morning. Her son, Shaheed Sipahi Mustafa Kamal has sacrificed his life for the independence of the country.

The nation lost a great mother at her demise. I am expressing deep shock at her death and prayed for her departed soul. Besides, I am extending sympathy to her mournful family members and relatives.
