Renowned religious scholar of Brahmanbaria district Maulana Moniruzzaman Siraji dies: Jamaat Ameer condoles

Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 9 August 2020 expressing deep shock at the death of Brahmanbaria district’s Bara Hujur, Bhadughor Jameya Sirajaia Darul Ulum Madrasa’s Principal and Shaikhul Hadith Allama Moniruzzaman Siraji.

Renowned religious scholar of Brahmanbaria district, Bhadughor Jameya Sirajaia Darul Ulum Madrasa’s Principal and Shaikhul Hadith Allama Moniruzzaman Siraji died this noon at the age of 93 due to some old age complications. Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun.

Shaikhul Hadith Allama Moniruzzaman Siraji was the eldest son of the Maulana Sirajul Islam, the famous Bara Hujur of the Brahmanbaria district. Like father, Maulana Moniruzzaman received respect and honor from all quarters. He was the pearl of the religious community and a respectable guide for the Islam loving people. He played a significant role for the expansion of Islamic education in the country. People will remember his role and contribution for more years to come. The nation lost great religious scholar at his demise. This vacuum will not be fulfilled very easily.

May Allah accept all his noble deeds to reward him with Jannah. May Allah bless his mournful family and relatives so that they can hold patience. Ameen.
