Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 5 August 2020 at the death of BNP’s Vice chairman and former state minister Abdul Mannan.

In the condolence message, Professor Mujib said, BNP’s Vice chairman and former minister of state Abdul Mannan died of old age complications. He was a veteran politician. He has played pivotal role in different democratic movements of the country. The nation lost a patriot politician at his demise. I am expressing deep shock at his death and praying for his departed soul. I am also extending my sympathies to his mournful family and relatives.
