Over 100 passengers killed in a plane crash in Pakistan; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 23 May 2020 as 107 passengers killed in a plan crash in the southern city of Karachi in Pakistan on Friday.

On 22nd May, in Karachi under the Sindh province of Pakistan, an aircraft of the Pakistan International Airlines crashed due to technical glitch that killed over 107 people on board.

On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, we are extending deep shock and condolence over this accident. I am also extending sympathy to the victim families. Along with the families and relatives of the deceased and the people of Pakistan, we are also saddened and mourned.

We hope that the government of Pakistan would pay due compensation to the victim families and assist them by all means. We are expecting that the government and the people of Pakistan would be able to overcome the shock of this tragic mishap shortly.
