Ex-Sunamganj district Ameer Hatimur Rahman dies; Acting Ameer and Secretary General expresses condolence

Former Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sunamganj district unit and party’s member Hatimur Rahman died at the age of 65 on 1st April at 11 pm due to chronic liver  and tuberculosis diseases. Innalillahi Wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Following the namaj-e-Janaja (funeral prayer), he was buried at his social graveyard of his village this noon.

Message of condolence

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam and party’s Secretary General Dr. Shafiqur Rahman have jointly issued the following message of condolence on 2nd April, 2018 at the death of former Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Sunamganj district unit and party’s member Hatimur Rahman.

The Jamaat leaders said in the condolence message that, Hatimur Rahman was a dedicated person for the Islamic movement. He had played significant role for the progress and expansion of Jamaat-e-Islami’s activities in Sunamganj district. May Allah bless the deceased. May Allah forgive and protect him. May Allah accept him as the distinguished guest of Janaah. May Allah transform all his sins into pieties and may Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him Jannah.

The Jamaat leaders also extended deep sympathy to his mournful families and prayed for them to Almighty Allah, so that they can hold patience during these difficult times.
