On Sunday (23 November) evening, a meeting was held between the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, and the Honorable Prime Minister of Bhutan, H.E. Tshering Tobgay, who is currently visiting Dhaka. The meeting took place at Hotel Inter Continental in the capital in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere.

Jamaat's Secretary General and former Member of Parliament, Mia Golam Porwar; Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair and Jamaat Ameer's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan were present on the occasion.
