Acting Ameer meets Turkish embassy officials; Jamaat-e-Islami sends lifesaving items for the earthquake victims

A delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami led by the party’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman went to the Turkish embassy in Dhaka on 13th February to extend sympathy to the victims of the recently held massive earthquake in Turkey and also for providing some gift items to the earthquake victims. On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, a significant number of gift items were handed over to the Turkish embassy officials at that time.

During the occasion Acting Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman said, Almighty Allah, says in the holy Quran that, “You mutually cooperate with one another in performing good deeds but do not indulge in any ill-deeds and sinful activities.” While, the Prophet (peace & blessings be upon Him) said, ‘the faithful who dies in a natural catastrophe, will get an honor like the martyrs’. May Allah accept all the victims of the Turkish earthquake as martyrs. Ameen.

He further said, on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, we came here with some gift items for the earthquake victims as per our capacity and will continue to support them in the upcoming days as well. We do have love and prayer for all the victims’ families. May Allah bless them with patience. Ameen.

May Allah protect humanity from such disaster. May Allah protect all Muslim brothers and sisters around the world. May Allah allow us to act like a family to uphold truth and justice on all occasions. I am expressing my deep gratitude to Almighty Allah, as He makes us able to do something for these victims. I am also grateful to the embassy officials as they receive our gifts cordially. May Allah reward all of us for these simple efforts on the day of judgment.
