Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim said, Allah is the only decider of life and death. So, we have to accept His decision and have to take all situation normally. Accidental death is always painful. Number of road accidents have increased due to reckless driving. Death may appear before us anytime and anywhere. So, we have to be prepared for a noble death. We have to increase our good deeds.
Maulana Abdul Halim said this while distributing financial assistance to the victim families of a fatal road accident in Nakaihat of Gobindaganj Upazila under Gaibandha district today.
He said, Jamaat-e-Islami is such a party which works for ensuring truth and justice. We want to give people their rights back. Crisis is being created in a society because of the corruption and irregularities. We must avoid the corrupt and the anti-social personalities. Jamaat always tries to serve people in disastrous situation. In various previous occasions, financial supports had been provided to the people of this district. Even the people of Hindu community had received our support. Providing this support is not our credit, rather it is your rights.
Our leaders also became imprisoned, faced tortures. Many of them became martyrs. We will establish a welfare state even in exchange for our lives.
Among others, Gaibandha district’s former Ameer Dr. Abdur Rahim Sarkar, district Ameer Abdul Karim, Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Mazedur Rahman, Principal Nazrul Islam, district’s assistant secretary Syed Abdus Salek, Abul Kalam Azad, Golam Mustafa and others were present on the occasion.
On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Abdul Halim provided 50 thousand taka to each of the 4 families. The deceased are Ashraful Islam, Mottalib Prodhan, Md. Belal and Sobuj Mia. They all went to adjacent Nakaihat Bazar by riding an easy bike and suddenly a nosimon van hit them severely. Ashraful Islam died on the spot. Rest of the 3 injured were taken to Rangpur medical college hospital and they died over there while undergoing treatment.
