On 19th July evening, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman went to the ancestral house of Thakurgaon district’s former Jamaat Ameer, noted religious scholar Maulana Abdul Mazid Rahimullah, located in Kaharol Upazila under Dinajpur district. He talked to the mournful families and consoled them. He also visited the grave of late Maulana Abdul Mazid and offered prayed seeking blessing and salvation for his departed soul.

Visited the grave of late Taiyeba Khatun

On 19th July evening, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited the grave of late Taiyeba Khatun, mother of Dhaka city South Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary and former central President of Islami Chhatrashibir Delwar Hossain and Thakurgaon district Jamaat’s Secretary and Sadar Upazila council’s former vice chairman Alamgir Hossain. Jamaat Ameer at that time prayed seeking blessing and salvation for her departed soul.

Jamaat Ameer visited the grave of Shaheed Abdul Hamid

Rajshahi University Islami Chhatrashibir activist Abdul Hamid was martyred in a severe clash on 11th March 1982. Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited the grave of Shaheed Abdul Hamid on 19th July. After the visit, he talked to the martyr’s family.

Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, Jamaat’s central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, regional tea member Aftab Uddin Molla, Thakurgaon district Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim, Dinajpur district north organizational district Ameer Anisur Rahman and Panchagarh district Ameer Iqbal Hossain were present during these visits.
