Jamaat leaders visit flood-affected areas of Lalmonirhat and Nilphamari districts; distribute relief

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and former MP AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad and party’s Assistant Secretary General and coordinator for Northern region’s relief activities Maulana Abdul Halim visited the flood-affected areas pf Lalmonirhat district.

Assistant Secretary General Hamidur Rahman Azad and the party’s central organizing secretary Maulana Momtaz Uddin visited the Mohishkhocha area of Aditmari Upazila of Lalmonirhat district. While Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim and central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal visited the Saniajan and Goddimari under Hatibandha Upazila. Jamaat leaders distributed relief among the flood victims of these areas.

Addressing the gathering of Aditmari, Hamidur Rahman Azad said, Jamaat-e-Islami always tries to stay beside the helpless people, particularly in a crisis. As a part of our tradition, we are here to serve you with some relief items. We are not able to meet your all necessities but we have no shortage of good intentions. We are here to express our sympathy. We are urging the affluent corners to come forward for assisting the flood victims.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been continuing its relif operations for the flood-affected areas. We are calling upon all to help these victims. Jamaat-e-Islami always was with the helpless people and will be in the upcoming days insha Allah.

Among others, Lalmonirhat district Jamaat Ameer Ataur Rahman, Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman, district Secretary Advocate Abu Taher, Assistant Secretary Hafez Shah Alam, former vice chairman of Aditmari Upazila Advocate Firoz Haider Lavlu, Polashi union’s chairman Alaul Islam Fatemi Pavel and Aditmari Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abdul Mannan were present on the occasions.

Maulana Abdul Halim distributes relief in Joldhaka Upazila under Nilphamari district

Relief items were distributed among the waterlogged ad helpless families of Joldhaka Upazila under Nilphamari district. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim was present on the occasion as the chief guest. Relief items including rice, lentils, potatoes, oil and salt were distributed among 100 families of Shoulmari north, Shoulmari south and Koimari union.

Among others, Nilphamari district Jamaat’s Secretary Principal Maulana Abdus Sattar, Assistant Secretary Anwarul Islam, Joldhaka Upazila Ameer Sader Hossain, Upazila secretary Kamaruzzaman, Upazila’s working committee member Omar Faruq, Muzahid Masum and Chhatrashibir leader Habibur Rahman were present at that time.
