Jamaat-e-Islami Hind leader Dr. Mohammed Rafat dies; Jamaat Ameer condoles

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 10 January 2021 at the death of renowned Islamic scholar, author of numerous books and the senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Dr. Mohammed Rafat.

Renowned Islamic scholar, author of numerous books and the senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Dr. Mohammed Rafat has died in Al Shifa Hospital of New Delhi on 8 January. InnalillahiWa Inna IlaihiRajiun. He has retired recently from Jamia Millia Islamia. As an author and researcher, he wrote several books. The Muslim Ummah lost a great author, researcher and Islamic personality at his demise. We are expressing deep shock at his death and extending sympathy to his mournful family, party workers and associates and well-wishers.

May Allah accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.
