Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former member of Parliament Professor Mujibur Rahman has signed a condolence book which has been opened in the Kuwait embassy in Dhaka expressing deep shock and condolence at the death of Kuwait Ameer Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. Jamaat’s Acting Ameer went to the Kuwait embassy at 18th December noon, signed the condolence book and prayed to Allah seeking salvation for the departed soul of the Kuwaiti Emir.
At that time, he wrote in the condolence book that, “May Allah forgive him, bless him and provide him security. May Allah accept him as His guest and expand his grave. May Allah accept all his noble deeds and reward him with Jannah.”
During the occasion, Acting Ameer met the embassy officials and through them greeted the new Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Acting Ameer expresses hope that, the people of Kuwait will be able to overcome this shock shortly. May Allah bless them with patience to tolerate this shock. He further expects that, like the previous occasion, under the leadership of new Kuwait Emir, the prevailing bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait will be strengthened in the upcoming days.
