My crime’s to involve myself with Islamic Movement - Mujahid

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and former Minister Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid said that the judgment is hundred percent injustice after hearing the verdict. I was not in Faridpur during war. He said I was not involved with any crime in 1971.  My crime is to involve myself with Islamic Movement. He said aforesaid speech to judge from the dock after reading the verdict. He was not allowed to say something more when he wants to say something. The police take him quickly from the dock. International Crimes Tribunal -1 chairman Obaidul Hasan reads the last part of the verdict. A huge number of police detective police, the people of different agencies, a large number of journalists the main supporter of Shabagh Ganajagaran Manch Nassir Uddin Yusuf Baschu and Muntasir mamun available in the tribunal. A large number of state’s lawyers were present there. But none of the defense lawyers were present there because of strike. The son of Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid Ali Ahmed Tajdid, Ali Ahmed Tahkik and Ali Ahmed Mabrur were tribunal. They ever looked at his father and the judge while writing verdict. Mujahid looked down. They finished the verdict 38 pages of 209 at 1:45pm. Then Mujahid were normal. Justice Obaidul Hasan reads last sentence. He ordered Mujahid death sentence. Then Mujahid said this verdict is totally injustice. I was not in Faridpur during war. Prosecution brought 7 allegations against him and five allegations are proved. Mujahid Ali Ahmed Tajdid, Ali Ahmed Tahkik, Ali Ahmed Mabrur and police take him from jail after the verdict. BNP leader Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury was I jail and Mujahid talks to him about the verdict. He took from central jail at 9: 40 am. Before, he was in Narayanganj district jail. He took to dock at 10:40 pm. He talked top defense lawyer for a while. Then he looked happy. He looked to the top for a long time when Justice Mujibur Rahman Mia reads the verdict. He tries to say something to judges. Then Justice Obaidul Hasan started to read the last part of the verdict. For that reason he did not get chance to say something. He talked to Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury normally in jail. He was reading Newspaper carefully till getting on the dock.
