Jamaat Ameer visits Oman embassy in Dhaka to expresses condolence at the death of Sultan Qaboos

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman went to the embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Dhaka today to express his deep shock and condolence over the death of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. During the occasion, Jamaat Ameer signed and put note in the condolence book saying that, ‘May Almighty Allah bless him, bestow mercy upon him and provide him security. May Allah accept him as the distinguished guest of Jannah. May Allah expand his grave and accept all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.’

Jamaat Ameer also met Oman’s ambassador to Bangladesh and through him extended his greetings to the new Sultan of Oman, Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq Al Said (May Allah protect him). Jamaat Ameer expected that the people of Oman will be able to overcome the shock of losing their leader shortly. Jamaat Ameer prayed for the new leadership and the friendly nation of Oman. He also hoped that the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and Oman will be continued in the upcoming days as before.
