Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following message of condolence on 8 November 2019 expressing deep shock and concern as a newly married couple, along with five others, were killed as a battery-run three-wheeler collided head-on with a bus on Panchagarh-Banglabandha highway in Panchagarh’s Tetulia upazila today.
“I am expressing my deep shock and sympathy as a newly married couple, along with five others, were killed as a battery-run three-wheeler collided head-on with a bus on Panchagarh-Banglabandha highway in Panchagarh’s Tetulia upazila today.
I hope that the concerned authorities will probe into the accident fairly and subsequently will take action against the responsible personnel. I am also urging the authority to pay due compensation to the victim families. Besides, I am asking local Jamaat activists to extend their hands of cooperation to those mournful families.
I am praying for the departed souls and extending deep sympathy to their families.
