Jamaat-e-Islami announces a two-day program following the martyrdom of Inqilab Mancha Spokesperson and July Revolution hero Sharif Osman Hadi

Today, 19 December, a meeting of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's senior leaders was held at the central office of the organization. The meeting took place on Friday evening, was presided over by the Secretary General of the organisation and former Member of Parliament Mia Golam Porwar. Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana ATM Masum, former Member of Parliament Dr Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana Abdul Halim, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, Central Executive Council Member Abdur Rob, Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Mobarak Hossain, Central Executive Council Member and Ameer of Dhaka City South Nurul Islam Bulbul, and Central Working Committee Member and Nayeb-e-Ameer of Dhaka City North Abdur Rahman Musa participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, discussions were held on the overall political situation of the country, the reception of the body of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson and revolutionary July Revolution hero Sharif Osman Hadi, his funeral prayers, and other necessary matters.

Following these discussions, the following programmes were adopted:

1. On 20 December (Saturday), district and city branches of Jamaat-e-Islami across the country are called upon to organise prayer programmes seeking forgiveness (maghfirah) for the soul of Osman Hadi.


2. On 21 December (Sunday) at 10:00 a.m., a similar prayer program will be organised by the central organisation at the Al-Falah Auditorium in Mogbazar, Dhaka.
