On 9 November (Sunday) afternoon, a meeting of the Public Rally Implementation Committee was held at the central office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, presided over by its Secretary General and former MP Mia Golam Porwar. The meeting was convened in preparation for the previously announced public rally scheduled to be held on 11 November at 2 PM at the historic Paltan intersection, as part of the joint movement of eight political parties to realize the 5-point mass demands.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Secretary Generals Mawlana ATM Masum, Dr. Hamidur Rahman Azad (former MP), Mawlana Abdul Halim, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, Dhaka City North Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa, Dhaka City South Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir and Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin; Dhaka City North Assistant Secretaries Nazim Uddin Molla and Md. Yasin Arafat; and Islami Chhatrashibir's Secretary General Nurul Islam Saddam.
The meeting included detailed discussions on various aspects of implementing the public rally, and responsibilities were distributed to ensure its complete success.
