On 20 August (Wednesday) at 12 noon, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former Member of Parliament Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, along with Assistant Secretary General Advocate Moyazzem Hossain Helal, went to visit BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who was admitted to United Hospital in the capital Dhaka after suffering from a heart attack. At that time, Dhaka City North Jamaat leaders accompanied them.

The Jamaat leaders inquired about the health and treatment status of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and prayed to Almighty Allah for his quick recovery. Following the visit, Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher gave a brief statement before the journalists.
