On Monday, July 21, at around 1 pm, a training plane lost control and crashed into Milestone School and College in Uttara. Numerous students were killed in the accident. In the afternoon, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and Secretary General, and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, rushed to see the burned students undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. At that time, they were accompanied by Central Executive Member, and Dhaka City South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, Central Executive Council Member, Dhaka City North Ameer Muhammad Selim Uddin, Central Working Committee Member and Dhaka City South Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Central Majlis Shura Member and Dhaka City South Assistant Secretary Md. Delwar Hossain.

Leaders including the Jamaat Ameer inquired about the burn victims and advised the authorities to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
