Today, a day-long training session with the members of Gaibandha district Jamaat-e-Islami was organized in the virtual platform. District Secretary Maulana Johurul Haq hosted the program which was presided by Gaibandha district Jamaat Ameer Md. Abdul Karim. Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman addressed the program as the chief guest.

Professor Mujibur Rahman said Almighty Allah instructed His servants to pay donations from his/her rizq. We get hundreds of examples of such donations while reading the life sketch of the Prophet (pbuH) and His companions. Allah has purchased the soul and wealth of the believers in exchange for Jannah. Jamaat activists should donate more on the path of Allah. Besides, we have to encourage our family members, relatives, and neighbors to donate similarly.

Jamaat’s central executive committee member Saiful Alam Khan Milon and party’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim addressed the program as the special guest. Jamaat’s central organizing secretary Principal Maulana Momtaz Uddin, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s team member Dr. Abdur Rahim Sarkar and Thakurgaon district Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim delivered topic based discussion in the program.

Saiful Alam Khan Milon talked about the history of Jamaat-e-Islami. He said Jamaat’s history can never be acknowledged properly if we fail to know Maulana Sayed Abul A’la Mawdudi. So, we should know his personal life as well as his thought-provoking books deeply. He also highlighted different historical parts, barriers, tragic stories, and the history of sacrifices in his address.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, we should fulfill the right of being members of this organization. Professor Ghulam Azam, Abbas Ali Khan, and our leaders are our examples to follow. Still, there are many mothers who have lost their sons; we have many widows and orphans as well. So, we have to play a pivotal role in securing the rights of the people with courage and enthusiasm. We should rely on Allah only in accomplishing our tasks.
