We have to continue serving the helpless and impoverished people, says Dr. Shafiqur Rahman
We have to work for the benefit of the people. We have to take a stand by the side of the people in their danger period. Besides, we have to urge people to do good and keep them refraining from doing bad deeds. Then the welfare and prosperity of the people will be ensured. All manpower should perform such duties sincerely.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahma has said this while addressing a leadership conference organized by Faridpur district Jamaat in a local auditorium today.
He further said, we have to be firm despite all dangers, barriers, and obstructions. The prophets and companions had faced torture and but they continued their duties with patience and courage. Islamic teachings should be conveyed to the people. In absence of the prophets, those responsibilities came upon the shoulder of the Muslims. We have to compete with one another in doing good deeds. Leaders should play an effective role in expanding organizational tasks. The women have to come forward to do these activities as well. Half of the members of society are women. Islam can never be victorious without them. So, to build an ideal family and an ideal society, women should be included in the organization and they should be prepared as noble ladies.
The student communities had played a historic role in all previous movements and other initiatives to alter society. So, to eradicate the elements of darkness, preaching activities should be carried out among the students massively. The students will lead the society and state of the future. To secure the nation’s future, the students should be built with the spirit of ideology, morality, and honesty. Only honest and skilled leaders can play an active role to bring quality changes and also build a corruption-free Bangladesh.
Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Faridpur region’s coordinator AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad presided over the program and it was hosted by central organizing secretary Md. Delwar Hossain. Faridpur region’s team members and district Ameers were present on the occasion.
