-Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, since the beginning of the flood, our fellow brothers took the side of the flood victims. Still, we are with the victims with our maximum capacity. Initially, there was no gap with our intention but had suffered from the inadequacy of items. So, we could not reach all at the beginning. We are seeking forgiveness. May Allah forgive us all. We have tried our best. However, we could not assist the 33 lakh people of the Sunamganj district. In our human assistance program, there was no discrimination. We made no differences irrespective of caste, religion, and political identity. In this critical condition, those victims get assistance first, who have been affected by the flood severely. It is an obligation for the faithful to ensure the dignity and honor of another human being. So, let us come forward to help the helpless people ignoring all differences.
