Central office staff Rafiqul Islam buried at his native village following the Namaj-e-Janaja; Jamaat Ameer attends

The second Namaj-e-Janaja of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central office’s staff Md. Rafiqul Islam was held on 15 November 2021 at 2.30 at noon in Indilpur Government Primary School ground in Sribardi Upazila under Sherpur district. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has led the prayer. Among others, Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member and central Publicity Affairs Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda, central working committee member and Jamaat’s central organizing secretary Dr. Samiul Haq Faruqi, Bangladesh IslamiChhatrashibir’s Secretary General Hafez Md. Rashidul Islam, Sherpur district Jamaat Ameer Maulana Hafizur Rahman and local people attended the occasion.

Prior to the Janaja, at his speech Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Mr. Rafiqul Islam was a simple and noble hearted man. He has discharged his professional duties sincerely and efficiently. On 14th November, while parking his car, he became sick suddenly. On the way to the hospital, he responded to the call of Almighty Allah and breathed his last. We were extremely pleased with his professional performance. May Allah become pleased over him as well.

Following the Namaj-e-Janaja, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman get down into the grave which created an emotional atmosphere over there. Later, Jamaat Ameer met late Rafiqul Islam’s wife and children and consoled them.
