Maulana Abdul Halim urges all to hold the true spirit and teachings of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him)

Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Abdul Halim has said that our personal and social lives should be rectified according to the tradition of the holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him). The companions had secured the victory of Islam as they did not hesitate to sacrifice and dedicate themselves for the sake of their love for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him). The companions led a comprehensive life, blessed with ingrained faith, migration, struggle and martyrdom.

He said this while addressing a virtual program to mark the occasion of holy Siratunnabi(peace and blessings be upon Him) organized by Lalmonirhat district Jamaat-e-Islami on 21st October. Central Majlish-e-Shura member of Jamaat-e-Islami and district Ameer Ataur Rahman presided over the program and while district secretary Professor Abu Taher hosted the event. Among others, Jamaat’s Majlish-e-Shura member and Rangpur region’s team member Azizur Rahman Sarkar, Lalmonirhat district Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary Hafez Shah Alam, district president of Sramik Kollan Federation Abu Raihan and PatgramUpazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Abul Kalam Azad addressed the program.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, our holy Prophet (peace and blessings upon Him) invited people in his Makki era through the sermon about Tawhid, Risalat and the hereafter. While, after the migration in Madina, he structuralized an Islamic society and establish Islam as a victorious doctrine. Keeping this fact in mind, we have to educate our sons and daughters about the teachings of Islam since their childhood. Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) is teacher for the entire mankind. We will be able to have a society free from corruption, misrule and injustices, if we can follow the life and teachings of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him).

Our companions had suffered a lot, both mentally and physically. Even then, they remained firm in their struggle for Islam. Under the banner of the Islamic movement, if we can hold patience and offer highest sacrifice for these efforts, only then, our love and sincere dedication for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) would be substantiated.
