The British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Mrs. Sarah Cooke, arrived at the Jamaat Central Office at 11 am on March 11 and met with the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. During the meeting, they exchanged greetings in a very cordial atmosphere and exchanged views on the overall situation in Bangladesh in a very friendly atmosphere.

During the exchange of views, they discussed the overall situation prevailing in Bangladesh, the establishment of democracy, the upcoming elections, human rights, the situation of minorities, and the Rohingya problem. At the same time, they discussed ways to further improve and strengthen the friendly relations between Bangladesh and Great Britain.
