Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "We want to build a Bangladesh where justice will be established according to the laws of Allah, where there will be no discrimination. Everyone will get their due. This responsibility will be transferred to the youth. Youth will play a role in nation building. No more youths to commit suicide due to the curse of unemployment. There is no need to pay any bribe to get a job.
Jamaat Ameer said this while addressing the workers’ conference at Wazir Ali central Eidgah ground in Jhenaidah district on Thursday, October 17. Jamaat-e-Islami Jhinaidah district organized the program. District Ameer Prof. Ali Azam Mohammad Abu Bakr presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Professor Abdul Awal. Jamaat’s central executive council member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mubarak Hossain spoke at the program as the special guest. Among others, Jamaat’s central working council member Maulana Matiur Rahman, district Jamaat organizing secretary Abdul Alim, Assistant Secretary Principal Abdul Hai, Maulana Abu Talib, Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Islami University Branch President HM Abu Musa, Jhenaidah District Chhatrashibir President Moniruzzaman, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Shailkupa Thana Ameer Motiur Rahman, Harinakundu Upazila Ameer Master Babul Hossain, Sadar Thana Ameer Motiur Rahman, Kaliganj Upazila Ameer Maulana Waliur Rahman, Kotchandpur Upazila Ameer Master Azizur Rahman, and Maheshpur Upazila Ameer Professor Farooq Ahmed also addressed the program.

Describing an incident in 2017, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "I came to the house of a martyr that day. After a while I was given notice to leave the area. I was not a thief, not a robber, not even a godfather. I was a citizen of a free country. If this is the case of the year 2017, then we can understand the situation of the country from 2009 to 2024. Awami League government in the name of development, actually offered corpses from house to house and blood out of their vengeance.
He also said, today I have come to honor the oppressed people of this area, blessed with martyrs and injured. Mr. Jahangir, father of Shaheed Parvez, is present in today's conference. The house where I was given a notice to leave the city in 2017 was his house. 18 crore people have been freed from that condition by Almighty Allah, Alhamdulillah.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we have a lot of pain in our hearts. We have been oppressed. Our top 11 leaders were taken from us. Our leaders were killed in connection with fabricated charges and probed witnesses at a kangaroo courts. We have filed a case in the court of the Almighty Allah. I don't know if I will be able see the trial of all the murderers in this life. We could not even go to our office. 5 of us could not sit together. They were picked up and told that they were conspiring against the state.
Referring the example of Satkhira district Jamaat Ameer said, Satkhira district is next to you. The houses of our activists have been razed to the ground by bulldozers. Our party’s registration and symbols have been unjustly taken away. Disoriented by the student movement, the government banned us on August 1. By the grace of Almighty Allah, after 4 days he banned them. But we love the nation, the country. We do not want to take the law into our hands and take any revenge. Whatever we want, we will follow the law and ask justice through the court of law. We seek no favoritism from the courts of law. We just want justice. We are adamant not to breach any order so that no one can say that any Jamaat-Shibir leader did extortion after 5th of August.
Awami League was used to say that more than 5 hundred thousand party leaders and workers would be killed after they left power. But we have set an outstanding example of forbearance and we can assert even 5 people of Awami League were not killed after this huge revolution. The people of Bangladesh are not vindictive. But Awami League wants an unstable environment to be created in Bangladesh. They made one after one-conspiracy. Allah foiled all their plots.
At this time, Jamaat Ameer reminded about the responsibility of Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists and said that our message is clear. We want justice. We want a society without discrimination. We will not let a single youth's hand remain idle. We will give work to everyone. Every youth will act like a hero of the development process.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, if Allah gives us the responsibility of managing the state, then our mothers will remain in the status of mothers, sisters in the status of sisters. No coward would dare to touch their honor. People of all religions can practice their religious activities freely. They will be able to live with dignity and security. In this way we want to build a society without discrimination. Today, commodity prices are skyrocketing. Everyone knows who increases the price of goods. Our clear message to the government, please destroy the market syndicate immediately. Take all initiatives to provide relief and peace to the people. Make the desired reforms. The people will help you inshallah.
