Chuadanga district Jamaat organizes Leadership conference

Not division, let unity be the basis of the nation building process

-Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "Let us try to build a united society. No division, let unity be the basis of nation building. On the basis of consensus, we have entrusted the task of building the country to the interim government. If they do something good, the countrymen will be benefited. But if they make a mistake, we will let them know and correct them. Some issues have come to our attention, we have advised and received some positive results. We should pray for them so that they can fulfill the expectations and aspirations of the nation.”

Jamaat Ameer said this while addressing a leadership conference on September 28 in a local auditorium in Chuadanga district. Chuadanga district Jamaat organized the program which was presided by District Ameer Ruhul Amin. Central executive council member, Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mubarak Hossain and Meherpur district Ameer Maulana Tajuddin spoke as special guests in the program. Moreover, there are many other countries in this world. We hold the same principles for all the nations. We want to move forward together based on mutual dignity and equality."

Mubarak Hossain said, “Fascist government has fallen in the face of mass movement of students. We now have the opportunity to work in a free environment. This opportunity should be fully utilized. The organization should be put on a strong foundation by working hard day and night. Jamaat should be made into a pro-people through public oriented advocacy work.”
