Condolence Message

On the demise of the father of Muhaddith Abu Nasr Ashrafi, Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Fazlul Karim, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman issued a condolence message on 02 January expressing his deep sorrow.

In the condolence message he said that Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Fazlul Karim was a nationally renowned learned scholar. As an ideal father, he educated his children with proper upbringing and sound education.

Throughout his long teaching career, he was able to produce many competent scholars, muhaddiths and mufassirs. During his teaching life, he played a guardian-like role for the Islamic student movement. He remained devoted to the establishment of Deen, justice and fairness, and to fostering unity among the ulama. I express my deep grief at his demise.

In the condolence message he further said, may Allah Almighty forgive him and shower mercy upon him and make his grave spacious. May He forgive his sins and convert them into good deeds. From the grave onwards, may every subsequent stage be made easy, comfortable and blessed for him. May Allah Almighty grant him a high station in Jannah and grant patience to his bereaved family members to endure this grief. Ameen.
