Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said, we need a group of honest and skilled people to lead this country. Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to produce such great leaders. We have to play proactive and courageous role by keeping trust in Allah to build an Islamic society. We have to follow the sacrifices and dedication of Hazrat Hanzala (may Allah be pleased with Him). Capital is the heart of a country. Whoever have the control over the capital, they can lead the nation. So, Dhaka south city leaders have to strengthen Islamic movement in this locality.

He said this while addressing a workshop with the Thana Ameer, departmental presidents and secretaries of Dhaka city Jamaat in an auditorium today. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the workshop which was hosted by city secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum addressed the program as the special guest. Among others, Dhaka south city Nayeb-e-Ameer and central Majlish-e-Shura member Abdus Sabur Fakir and Dr. Advocate Helal Uddin, Dhaka south city’s assistant secretary Delwar Hossain, Kamal Hossain and Dr. Abdul Mannan, Dhaka south city’s working committee member Mokarram Hossain Khan, Maulana Abu Fahim, Engineer Al Amin, Shamsur Rahman, Advocate S M Kamal Uddin, Dr. Mobarak Hossain, Abdus Salam, Syed Zainal Abedin, Professor Nurunnabi Manik, Syed Sirajul Haq, Kamrul Ahsan Hasan and others were present on the occasion.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Jamaat’s operates all works as per the part’s constitution and so the leaders have to read it regularly and we have to realize it wholeheartedly. Islamic leaders have to remain protected from the provocation of Satan. We have to be fearful of Allah to rectify ourselves. We should seek Allah’s helps in all occasions. We should be sincere about our Salah and have to allocate a time at midnight for voluntary prayers. Our transactions should be more transparent. We should apply and practice Islam within our families and motivate the family members accordingly. We should serve the people in their distress.

Maulana ATM Masum said, Islamic movement’s leaders must be built as per the spirit of Taqwa. We are calling the countrymen to the beautiful ideology of Islam. We are asking them to lead a life which will protect them from the hellfire. As a leader, we should be boost up in physical and moral forces. We should try to influence people with the spiritual power.

Nurul Islam Bulbul said, Jamaat-e-Islami has been working to build an Islamic society. This movement should be bolstered to free the nation from the clutches of oppression. We have to dedicate ourselves to meet such target. The capital Dhaka should be made the epicenter of the Islamic movement. He also urged the thana leaders to implement the annual plans.
