Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a peaceful protest march program across the country on Monday, April 7 to protest the repeated airstrikes and brutal massacres by the barbaric Israeli forces in violation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, "Since October 2023, more than 50,600 people have been killed and more than 115,063 innocent Palestinians have been injured in the brutal attacks of the Israeli forces, the enemies of humanity, in Gaza. 56 percent of the killed and injured are women and children. Meanwhile, since the ceasefire came into effect on January 19, Israel has been continuously violating the ceasefire by carrying out one small attack after another in Gaza. The attack on March 18 was the biggest attack since the ceasefire. More than four hundred people, including women and children, were killed on a single day on March 18. The Israeli Prime Minister launched this attack by announcing the resumption of the war. Through this attack, the pro-war militant attitude of the Israelis was once again exposed in a very naked way.
On behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I am making a sincere appeal to all branches of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the countrymen to make the demonstration program successful which have been organised protesting against the repeated airstrikes and brutal massacres by the barbaric Israeli forces in Gaza of Palestine.
