Secretary General expresses deep concern over the killing of more than 400 people, including children in the Israeli attack on Gaza

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar issued the following statement on March 18 expressing deep concern over the killing of more than 400 people, including children, in the Israeli attack on Gaza in violation of the ceasefire.

“I express deep concern over the killing of more than 400 people, including children, in the Israeli attack on Gaza on March 18 in violation of the ceasefire. Since the ceasefire began on January 19, Israel has been violating the ceasefire by carrying out one after another attack in Gaza. The March 18 attack is the biggest attack since the ceasefire. The Israeli Prime Minister has launched this attack by announcing the resumption of the war. Through this attack, the war-centered militant attitude of the Israelis has been revealed in a very naked way.

By announcing the resumption of the war "The entire Muslim Ummah, including the entire world, is deeply concerned and alarmed by the Israeli attack and their declaration of the resumption of war in Gaza. We call upon all international organizations, including the United Nations, and the peace-loving world to force Israel to stop the attack on Gaza and abide by the ceasefire."
