On Thursday, February 6, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman met with His Excellency Mr. Essa Youssef Essa Al-Duhailan, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh.

During the exchange of views, they had an open discussion on various issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. They expressed their hope that the mutual relations, development and progress between the two countries will continue in the future.

At the time, Jamaat's Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher and Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan Chowdhury were present.
