United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh Ms. Gwyn Lewis and Senior Human Rights Adviser at the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Bangladesh Ms. Huma Khan Bangladesh visited Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Office and held a courtesy meeting with Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman on Tuesday, 22nd October, at 11:30 a.m. During the meeting, they exchanged views in a frank and cordial atmosphere. They openly discussed the overall situation prevailing in Bangladesh. They want to know about various aspects of reform proposals presented by Jamaat-e-Islami. Jamaat Ameer highlighted multiple aspects of the Jamaat’s reform proposal.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman and Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Jamaat’s Central Executive Committee Member, and party’s Central Publicity and Media Secretary Matiur Rahman Akanda and Central Executive Committee Member Principal Muhammad Shahabuddin were present during the meeting.
